Terry O'Loughlin is a trial attorney specializing in the defense of medical malpractice suits, particularly in the medical specialty of obstetrics.

He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1960 and the University of Minnesota Law School in 1963. He served as a law clerk for the Minnesota Supreme Court from 1963 to 1964. After practicing law with the firms of Doherty, Rumble, & Butler and Altman Geraghty, Leonard, & Mulally, in 1977 he co-founded the law firm of Geraghty, O'Loughlin, & Kenney, P.A., with which he has practiced law to the present time.

Mr. O'Loughlin is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is listed among the Super Lawyers in Minnesota and by Best's, The Best Lawyers in America.  He is a member of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, Minnesota Hospital Attorneys Association, Ramsey County Bar Association, Minnesota Bar Association, Wisconsin Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
