Jean B. Hoppe graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing and cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D.). Her areas of practice include medical and professional malpractice, personal injury, health care law, and employment law.

Prior to attending law school Ms. Hoppe worked as a nurse in various areas including newborn intensive care and pediatrics. She also spent time as a volunteer nurse in St. Lucia, West Indies. While in law school she worked in the Hospital Attorneys' Office for the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics where she gained experience in health care and employment issues. Ms. Hoppe has also served on the Ramsey County Second District Ethics Committee as an investigator for six years.

Ms. Hoppe is a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Nurse Attorney Association, Ramsey County Bar Association, Minnesota Women Lawyers Association, Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association. Jean enjoys travel, cooking, the outdoors and time with her family and friends.
